ShapeShifter 2.0 out October 27th

More than half a year since the last update, Unsanity released version 2 of their popular ShapeShifter theming engine for Mac OS X. The new generation allows for even more theming pleasure like transparency for the menubar and the Finder sidebar. The preference panel also allows for one-click customization of system icons, mouse pointers, desktop backgrounds and the theme itself.
ShapeShifter 2.0 comes with a set of four themes produced my macthemes.net, including FearPlatinum 3, Azure, eXec and Somatic. All of them consist of a guiKit, icon sets and desktop backgrounds and are available through the new ‘Download’ tab within the ShapeShifter preferences.
Out of these included themes (which resemble about 95% of all themes that fully employ the ShapeShifter 2.0 features fully right now), I like FearPlatinum best, although it’s still a tad dark and I’ll probably switch back to Milk as soon as it has been updated.
