Keyboard Maestro acquired by Interarchy makers

keyboardmaestro-128.gif MacNN is running a story to announce that Stairways Software (the makers of the Internet/FTP-Client Interarchy acquired Keyboard Maestro on [June 30th](http://www.stairways.com/press/2004-07-12 ).

Keyboard Maestro is something I came to know and love quite a while ago. I use it to switch applications, control iTunes, as well as for standard email responses through its multi-Clipboard feature. Development has ceased to proceed for quite a while now with beta testing of the heavily unstable version 2.0 going on for more than a year. I’m pretty happy with someone jumping in and taking over since Michael Kamprath obviously didn’t have any further time to devote to his designated part-time pet project. Stairways plans to release a final version of the 2.0 branch within three months.
