Photon 1.0 - Publish photos from iPhoto to your Blog August 25th

released their first public version of Photon yesterday. Photon is an iPhoto export plugin that allows you to publish photos to your favourite Weblog with ease. Currently only MovableType and TypePad are supported, with a workaround available for WordPress.

My wishlist: - Publish more than 1 photo per blog-entry - Link thumbnails to their larger counterparts without fiddling or re-editing after publishing - Publish in ‘Draft’ mode only to add some text to the entry

All in all, a pretty decent product already, given the flexibility it already offers to decide which part of your iPhoto record (album title, photo title, dates) is going where (excerpt, regular body, extended body) as well as its multi-blog support and the ease to customize thumb and photo size for uploads on a per-blog basis.

Time for a photo blog I guess.
