Keeping in sync with Typo

recently worked out a way to keep a locally modified version of the typo weblog engine in sync with our developmental changes in the typo subversion repository. He documented his findings in an entry on his blog.

You want most of the code that comes from Typo to be the base of your blog, but you want to keep your changes under your own source control. SVN comes to the rescue.

The principle here is that you need to start your trunk of your blog with the Typo source trunk. Then you will periodically merge the Typo source trunk into your trunk.

As we have some killer features coming up (Spam Protection, Admin Interface, ..) this article should assist you to properly keep local modifications while still getting your fix of newly developed typo features.

Thanks Sean!
